100% Grignano olives

An extra virgin oil made only with Grignano olives. This single-variety oil deserves to be better known: it is made from olives grown in Nesente Valpantena, a village near Verona famous for the quality of its crops. The producers are Giovanni Salvagno and his family.

100% Grignano olives

The olive trees grow at an altitude of 150 meters above sea level. The variety is scarcely known, but deserves greater recognition. Indeed, if you still haven't tried it, don't wait much longer. It is definitively worth it. This oil seems tailor-made for whoever seeks delicate oils with a great personality, which is best expressed raw. It never covers the flavour of food or hides its aroma, but only helps enhance it.

The aspect of the oil is a clear yellow with shades of pale green.

The nose perceives a medium-light scent of olive, with notes of vegetables and herbs.

The mouth perceives a satisfactory degree of fluidity, softness and dressing capacity.

The flavour is delicate and harmonious, with notes of artichoke and wheatgrass.

Bitterness and pungency are well balanced.

A slight piquancy and note of almond arise at the end.
