The 8th World Olive Oil Exhibition, which will be held on the 27th and 28th of March at Madrid’s IFEMA, will host an important number of visitors coming from Europe. Moreover, the International Olive Council (IOC) has summonedaround thirty of its members for an Advisory Committee a few days prior to the event in the Spanish capital for them to be able to attend the WOOE.

These visitors will come from the United Kingdom, France, Germany, Italy, Romania, Slovakia and Portugal. Furthermore, the WOOE organizers point out the attendance of the top ten most important olive oil purchasing companies from Italy; on this occasion, the fair will provide a unique opportunity for the international and Spanish olive mills.

The IOC will hold its general assembly on the days prior to the fair to enable the attendance of all the participants in the World Olive Oil Exhibition, which will be inaugurated by the IOC executive director, Abdellatif Ghedira, who will also kick off the conferences with a panel in which he will speak about “Figures from the sector”. Mr. Ghedira will also take part in the presentation of the handbook The international olive cultivation: historical distribution, strategic analysis and descriptive outlook.

Ravioli with Garda extra virgin olive oil stuffing and black olive charcoals

Ravioli with Garda extra virgin olive oil stuffing and black olive charcoals

Extra Virgin Garda DOP olive oil’s distinctive traits are its naturally delicate flavor and its elegance. At the taste it can be recognized for harmony or its organoleptic notes and for the light and balanced aromas: the scents of fresh grass, aromatic herbs, hay and artichoke, together with the typical almond aftertaste, make it unique.
